Milestone and AXIS CCTV System Aurora Place Sydney NSW

Located in the central hub of Sydney’s CBD, Aurora place is a modern building of noteworthy significance. The building, which has undergone considerable modern restoration exhibits character and contemporary style. Part of the buildings upgrade consisted of a major digital CCTV camera upgrade.

The integrated CCTV and access control upgrade embraces thousands of meters of new structured cabling, half a million dollars’ worth of specialized hi-tech security, all integrated to the purpose-built control room by Micron Group engineers. Axis cameras, Milestone main head end, including integrated Jacques IP servers embrace a philosophy founded on cutting edge technology and performance, weaved together by Micron’s foremost engineers and programmers. Working together with security consultant Scott Myles from ICS group, Micron Group exceeded customer expectations to achieve optimum visual coverage of the buildings camera & CCTV system. Myles explains, “Having buy-in by from integrators with excellent abilities and professionalism certainly contributed to the positive outcome. Important, too, prior to the lock down we had the opportunity to discuss the design with client and integrator and make the necessary adjustments so that when it came time for commissioning the system everyone was on the same page.”

The headlines of the SEN (Security Electronics and Network) magazine proudly announced the success of the project and Micron Group’s key role in providing a turnkey solution. Walter Gasparini – Micron’s electrical systems engineer quoted “ The project was complex and involved, nonetheless an absolute success”.
